Michael Roberts - Head Chef
Michael Roberts is the head chef for the company and his chief responsibility is designing recipes for the app. Micahel is currently in his final year of his Bachelor of Business Science degree specialising organisational psychology. Michael has had a passion for food for many years and has always intended to be a profesional chef. He has worked in various professional kitchens around Cape Town. The combination of his food knowledge and business sense as well as the experience of cooking his own recipes for his housemates for five years, makes Micheal perfectly suited to provide IndigoFive many creative food ideas for the Pick n Pay Digs Dinner.
Rella Suskin – Head of Finance
As the head of finance for IndigoFive, Rella Suskin is primarily responsible for managing the company's revenues and costs in a way that ensures considerable profit margins while allowing room for growth and thereby maximising shareholders' wealth. Furthermore, she is responsible for forecasting company financials in order to attract key partnerships. She is currently in the final year of her Bachelor of Business Science degree majoring in finance and intends on completeing her CFA qualification thereafter. Her attention to detail and thorough knowledge of the business environment will ensure in-depth and accurate financial analysis.
Bianca Terwin – Head of Technology
Bianca is head of technology and is responsible for the designing and updating the company’s website. She also is helping write the programme for our application alongside our outsourced application designer Glen Stein. She is currently finishing her Business Science Finance (Non CA) at the University of Cape Town. Bianca has a sound business knowledge and a passion for the ever changing technology industry. We believe she will help drive our company to ensure we are in line with major trends to keep us growing.
Caroline Fuchsloch – Head of Business Development
Caroline Fuchsloch is currently in the final year of her Bachelor of Business Science degree majoring in finance and intends to complete her CFA qualification after a few years’ experience in the working world. Her strategic role as Head of Business Development primarily involves new business development, brand building strategies, Identification and segregation of potential Market segments, and revenue generation through new account development and key account management. In her operational role she uses her excellent team management skills to manage a team of people, being responsible for achieving sales targets and defining the exact marketing processes. She develops relevant business proposals and monitors market Intelligence within the industry in terms of market development, new projects and competitive activity. Lastly in her organizational role Caroline uses her high organizational standards to enhance organizational effectiveness through setting up appropriate marketing strategies and ensuring a consistent follow-through and resourcefulness, in order to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
Danielle Kaplan – Head of Strategy
As the head of strategy, Danielle is responsible for the generation of new and innovative business ideas. This typically involves the identification, formulation and execution of key business opportunities. Her role as chief strategist relies heavily on her interaction and communication with all other members of her team, as such a function typically requires input from all business divisions. Danielle is currently studying and completing her final year of Business Science, majoring in finance and intends on completing her CFA qualification shortly thereafter. Her creativity, leadership ability and open-mindedness will be of great value to the team moving forward.
Linda Soriano – Marketing and South African Research
Linda Soriano is currently in her final year of a Bachelor of Business Science degree majoring in Marketing. She has also recently completed her Honours in Market Research. She has work experience in advertising, both from an agency side from interning at M&C Saatchi and Abel and client-side experience from interning at fashion label, Lipsy in London, UK. As the Head of Marketing, Linda will streamline the strategies for maintaining our online presence through the use of search engine optimisation, as well as make sure all marketing supplements are in accordance with Pick n Pay’s brand and vision. She will also annually undertake market research to measure the results of our branding impression and identify any gaps in the market, which will then be relayed to the other team members. Linda is imaginative, yet uses her understanding of the business and financial market from her studies to produce creative and practical marketing strategies, which will greatly assist us get off the ground as a start-up company.
